DEVICE REQUIREMENTS

● Recommended: the iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, 3G iPad 2 and 3G iPad support all functions in iHikeGPS

● The iPhone 3 supports most functions but not background track recording

● The iPod Touch and the WiFi-only iPad models require an external GPS receiver to show your location in the wilderness and to record tracks. You can view maps using the iOS device by itself

● The original iPhone and 1st generation iPod Touch are not supported

● Continued Use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life
